Ground-truth data has always been a focus of the Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP) to provide a stronger basis for electrification planning in the country. Thus, NESP has partnered with Hanovia Technologies Limited to carry out field surveys in off-grid settlements to collect information about large energy consumers (businesses, productive users, and public institutions), as well as to conduct a light assessment of energy supply in selected settlements.
